It was round #4 of the Midway Recreation Park's Survivor Series on Sunday, August 10th and there was some great racing to watch!
Supermini
The Supermini had Zack Williams, who is sporting the #38 on his smoking fast Suzuki, and KTM riders, John Tate, #229 and Kurtis Endres, #221 flying out in front of the pack of 85cc riders. Behind them was Cody Breeden, #850 on his Suzuki. Zack Williams took the lead and win in both motos. John Tate and Kurtis Endres mixed it up with Tate taking second in the first moto and Endres taking second in the second moto. That gave second overall to Kurtis Endres and third to John Tate.
85cc (9-11)
In the 85cc, ages 9-11, Adam Maxfield, #588 was really tearing it up out there with Henry Miller, #292 chasing him down. In both motos Maxfield had the lead with Miller behind him. In moto one, Tyler Gast, #100 ran in third with Cole Harrington, #391 in fourth. However, these boys changed it up in the second moto with Cole Harrington riding in third and Tyler Gast in fourth. Adam Maxfield took the win, Henry Miller second, Cole Harrington took third overall and Tyler Gast finished fourth overall.
PreMix (7-8)
The minis are amazing because they are so small and the track and the jumps are so big! Though all the classes did an awesome job, my focus this time around was on the Pre-Mix ages 7-8. Sterling Wold, #81 was wicked fast out there and has great form on the bike! Sterling took the lead with Payton Harrison, #32 hot on his tail. I can tell these guys have the racer mentality already, which in a nutshell means if someone is in front of them, they're going to chase them down until they catch `em! Payton Harrison was definately gunning for Sterling Wold. Meanwhile, Austin Griffin, #264 was racing in third with Fierce Knight, #40 in fourth. Fierce Knight was definately on the chase for Austin Griffin but ran out of time. In this moto, Wold took the win, Harrison, second, Griffin third and Knight, fourth.
In the second moto, Sterling Wold had the lead once again. But Payton Harrison was a man on a mission flying up the pack making some passes. Michael Quinn, #75 had the third position this time. Wold took the win in the moto and the overall win. Harrison took second in this moto and second overall. Austin Griffin took fourth in this moto, but third overall. Keep up the great racing guys!
250A
Minnesota's Trevor Tuma, #288 and Ronnie Goodwin, #711 of Las Vegas, Nevada put on quite a race for us on Sunday. It was fast action and great racing! In moto one of the 250A class, Ronnie Goodwin had the lead and Trevor Tuma was often literally on his rear tire! To watch these two going as fast as they were and hitting jumps and corners together was awesome! Something happened to Tuma because before I knew it Goodwin took the win and Tuma was "not" on his tail. In moto two, Tuma took the lead and the overall win.
